Temporary Online Class Timetable
How do online classes work?
Online classes are hosted by Zoom. Contact Ruth to complete a student registration form before you join a class. You can click on the classes above to link to the Zoom registration. A waiting room is in operation and only registered students are admitted.
How much are classes?
During this time of uncertainty, classes are offered on a pay what you can basis up to £10 per class. Payment by BACS is preferred. Bank details are provided once you register with Ruth. If you need to pay another way, just get in touch.
Which class is best for me?
It can help to have a chat to select the class best suited for your needs and goals. But briefly:
Chair based yoga uses chairs for seated and standing work, and is there to assist with any transfers to the floor. There are seated options for all standing and floor work for those who prefer this.
Flow vinyasa is a dynamic class with higher tempo and more physical challenges than Hatha. Sun greetings and links sequences are included. It's a good choice for those with an established yoga practice.
Hatha Yoga is a mat based class with slower transitions between asana postures and more time available within each pose compared with the vinyasa class. There will be some up and down from the floor with options available.
Restorative Gentle Yoga is a relaxing yoga session to mobilise tight areas and gives more time for breath practices and guided meditations. An antidote for our uncertain times!
